An introduction to Lino printing 10 - 3.30pm (30 mins break for lunch) This one-day linocut printmaking course offers a hands-on, practical introduction to the process. You will explore the work of Japanese woodcut printmakers to inform and inspire your design approach. You’ll learn how to design and prepare your image, cut a block, ink up, and finally print your design. Throughout the day, you will acquire the skills required to create a single-color print from start to finish. By the end of the course, you will have your own final print to take home, along with the confidence to continue exploring linocut printing in the future.

Terms and Conditions Welcome to The Drawing Room. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and expectations for our art classes. 1. Booking and Payment Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place in a class. 2. Refund and Cancellation Policy Refunds are issued at our discretion and only if requested at least 7 days before the start of the first session. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 days of the class start date. If a student is absent or cancels a session for any reason, no refunds or make-up sessions will be offered. 3. Class Cancellations by The Drawing Room If we need to cancel a lesson for any reason, we will offer an alternative date. If rescheduling is not possible, we will provide a refund for the canceled session. 4. Photography and Media We may take photographs during classes for reference and marketing purposes. These images may be used on our website, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials. If you do not wish to be photographed or have images of your artwork taken, please inform us before the start of the session. Students should seek permission before taking photographs of others or their work during a session. 5. GDPR and Data Protection We take your privacy seriously and comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018. Any personal data collected (e.g., name, email, contact details) is used solely for booking purposes, communication, and updates regarding classes. We do not share your personal data with third parties without your explicit consent, except when required by law. Liability The Drawing Room is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during a session. Students are responsible for their personal belongings.
